What are addressable light strips?
Addressable light strip is an RGB light strip that can control each LED lamp bead individually through a controller. This light strip is usually composed of red, green and blue LED chips, and each LED chip can be controlled independently to achieve a variety of color and effect changes.
Working principle and features:
Each LED bead of the addressable light strip is equipped with a microcontroller, usually using WS2812B or WS2813 chips. These chips can receive control signals through the data line to achieve individual addressing and programmable control. For example, the WS2813 chip can achieve single-point control through a 4-pin line arrangement. Each bead is an independent pixel point and can be addressed individually, thus achieving a variety of lighting effects, such as multi-color breathing, fantasy colors, shooting stars, chasing, gradient and other effects.
Shenzhen Ailixing Lighting's addressable light strip product introduction:
1. Use flexible FPC as the substrate. FPC has good conductivity, fast heat dissipation, and is resistant to bending. It can be bent into any shape.
2. Use SMD5050RGB lamp beads and external driver chip DMX512 to achieve addressable, programmable, and breakpoint resume digital light strips.
3. Compatible with and extended DMX512 (1990) signal protocol, the control method is differential parallel, built-in 485 decoding module, strong anti-interference ability, no matter how many lamp beads IC are broken, the remaining light strips can work normally.
4. There are more than 16 million luminous colors, supporting the operation mode of installing first and then writing code. Various colors or changes can be customized as required, and any animation effect of the product can be achieved through external controller programming.
5. Small and light, suitable for installation in a narrow space, low-voltage DC24V power supply, safer for users to use.
6. Free cutting, every 6 LEDs can form a circuit, which can be arbitrarily cut and welded along the above tangent line to meet the various light strip lengths required by customers.
7. The waterproof level can be customized according to customer requirements, including non-waterproof (IP20), dripping waterproof (IP65), silicone casing/neon tube waterproof (IP67), casing internal glue filling/solid extrusion (IP68).
Application Scenario
Addressable light strips are widely used in various scenarios that require dynamic lighting effects, including:
Architectural outline lights: used for exterior lighting of buildings to create dynamic light and shadow effects.
Entertainment decorative lighting: such as decorative lighting in entertainment venues such as bars and KTVs.
Advertising decorative lighting: used for billboards, display cabinets, etc. to increase visual appeal.
Automated Equipment Shelf Indicator Light: Used for indication and decoration in automated equipment.
High-rise building lighting: used for exterior lighting and decoration of high-rise buildings.
Park and amusement park public facilities lighting: used for lighting and decoration of public facilities such as parks and amusement parks.
4. Regulate the body's work and rest
According to the body's biological clock, the human brain has a close relationship with light, and is particularly sensitive to blue light. Blue light can inhibit the melatonin produced by the pineal gland in the human brain. Long-term exposure to a high-blue light environment can even cause sleep disorders.
The emergence of full spectrum can provide better quality light and improve the light environment people live in. Less blue light components can make people's night working light environment more reasonable, and a reasonable light environment can help people promote sleep, improve productivity and improve mood.
Car decorative lights: used for car interior decoration to increase the atmosphere inside the car.
Through the controller, the addressable light strip can achieve various lighting effects and animations, such as RGB seven-color gradient, jump, flash, strobe, color chasing, color sliding, etc., to meet different decoration and lighting needs.
